Why New Hampshire?

New Hampshire, commonly referred to as the Granite State or White Mountain State, boasts beautiful mountain scenery, beautiful seacoast, extensive granite formations and quarries, and numerous rivers, ponds and streams that originate in its mountains. The natural beauty and serenity that the state offers has served as a unique backdrop to artists of all disciplines for many years. Painters, sculptors, potters and photographers have taken inspiration from their natural surroundings to produce a strong and lasting body of work. Their unique creations have attracted an international following, as well as worldwide recognition for New Hampshire as an inspiring and artistic destination.
